Auto-Q Hires Top Marketing Company to Help Realize Full Potential of Its New Consumer Products
LONDON--Dec. 18, 2002--Auto-Q (OTCBB:AUTQ) has commissioned Haines McGregor, a well known and respected UK brand development agency, to fully assess the potential of its new retail asset, security and monitoring products.This is seen as the precursor to a full scale advertising and promotion campaign to be launched in conjunction with approved retailers.
Haines McGregor was chosen due to its strong retail pedigree, working with such top companies as Homebase, Sainsbury and Boots in order to realize the full potential of their retail products. Other notable customers include BAE Systems, Universal Studios, Nestle, Safeway and Bayer.
Haines McGregor was established in 1989 by Brett McGregor and Jeremy Haines and has cemented itself in the UK as one of the premier brand management firms.
Auto-Q's new retail products are set to be launched in the first quarter of 2003. The retail products will focus on general consumer mobile assets, such as automobiles, yachts and motorcycles, and will allow for bureau monitoring 24 hours per day, 7 days a week for security purposes. Products will allow consumers to track their assets through their home PCs, mobile phones or the internet.
In case of theft, consumers will be able to shut down the engines of vehicles or boats remotely.
Products will be sold through high street stores, with strong initial interest shown by retailers throughout the UK. Sales estimates call for the sale of 5,000 units in the first year, with estimated revenue of about $3.8 million.
