Peterbilt Ranks Highest for Customer Satisfaction in Conventional Medium-Duty Segment
BELLEVUE, Wash.--Dec. 17, 2002--For the second consecutive year and third time in four years, Peterbilt Motors Company, a division of PACCAR Inc , ranks highest in the J.D. Power and Associates Medium Duty Truck Customer Satisfaction Study(SM) in the conventional medium-duty truck segment. Kenworth Truck Company, a division of PACCAR Inc, won the J.D. Power award in 2000."Peterbilt has again shown its commitment to and success in the medium-duty market. According to J.D. Power and Associates, the conventional medium-duty truck study focuses on six major areas of vehicle ownership: vehicle quality; vehicle engine; vehicle transmission; ride, handling and braking; vehicle cab interior; and exterior design and styling. It is based on interviews with more than 2,000 owner/operators and fleet managers of two-year-old medium-duty trucks.
According to J.D. Power and Associates, Peterbilt has a long history of satisfied customers, ranking highest in satisfaction for three of the past four years, and scoring highest in each of the six factors of satisfaction in the most recent study.
Available in Class 6-7 truck and tractor configurations, the Model 330 was introduced in 1994. The vehicle's versatility and Peterbilt's custom manufacturing make the Model 330 well suited for a wide variety of applications, including pick up and delivery, beverage, municipal, dump, fire and rescue, crane, mixer, refuse and utility.
