Auto Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia and SEPTA Announce Partnership

E. NORRITON, Pa., Dec. 16, 2002; The Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia (ADAGP) and SEPTA announced today an agreement for SEPTA to provide discounted weekday tickets to the 2003 Philadelphia International Auto Show and offer a specially designed discounted rail pass -- the "Turbo Pass." For the fourth year in a row, the ADAGP will donate one dollar from every ticket sold to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

"Partnering with SEPTA will make it easier than ever for Delaware Valley residents to arrive in style at the 2003 Philadelphia International Auto Show, parked at the Pennsylvania Convention Center January 11-19," said Jay Haenn, Chairman of the 2003 Philadelphia International Auto Show and owner of Lansdale Chrysler Jeep. "Philadelphia loves its Auto Show and last year a record 234,000 people filled the Convention Center raising $234,000 for The Children's Hospital. This partnership with SEPTA will provide ease of access through public transportation and we anticipate a stronger showing at the 2003 show than ever before!"

The tickets can be redeemed for admission into the Auto Show, weekdays, January 13-17. SEPTA and the ADAGP are also making available a "Turbo Pass" that can be purchased for an additional $8.00 which entitles riders to unlimited, one-day travel on SEPTA buses, trolleys and trains from January 11-19. "Turbo Passes" are not valid on SEPTA Regional Rail Trains arriving in Center City Philadelphia prior to 9:30 a.m.

"Taking a SEPTA bus, trolley or train is the most time- and cost-efficient way to get to the Auto Show and we strongly encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to use our system," said Faye Moore, General Manager of SEPTA. "SEPTA services will take you directly to the doors of the Pennsylvania Convention Center - what could be easier?"
