Chrome's Data Powers GMTI Celebro AutoChooser

PORTLAND, Ore.--Dec.16, 2002--Chrome Systems Corporation, provider of automotive data, configuration technology and commerce solutions, and Gannett Media Technologies International. (GMTI), providers of multi-media ad management software, announced today that Chrome's Vehicle Data will be used to power Celebro AutoChooser(TM), an automated print and Internet advertising tool for newspapers and dealers.
Celebro AutoChooser is a multi-media publishing system that helps newspapers generate higher incremental revenue, increase advertising lineage, reduce costs and improve advertising relationships. Celebro's Web-based technology offers newspapers and their automotive advertisers automated ad production and advertising management services through a central database. The centralized database stores the information, including text and photos, allowing automated productions of print, Internet and other multimedia advertising.
With AutoChooser, dealers can capture inventory, advertising data and photos in a single system and repurpose the data into classified liners, display ads, direct mail, Web sites and other media to generate quality leads.
Through the agreement, Chrome's Vehicle Data will be used to supplement, scrub and normalize data pulled from the Dealer Management System or entered online into AutoChooser. Celebro's technology then uses Chrome's vehicle data as the starting point for advertising copy that can be further enhanced by the dealer. By using Chrome's data, dealers and newspapers can feel confident that the content of their vehicle ad is standardized and accurate before the ads are printed or posted online.
"By standardizing on Chrome's data, we are ensuring that Celebro AutoChooser's advertising management system contains the most accurate data available for dealers and media sites," said Daniel Zito, GMTI President and CEO.
David Mingle, President of Chrome said, "We are pleased to be working with GMTI to advance the integration of print and online media for their dealers."
