Custom-painted scanner headsets in team colors
let fans show loyalty to their favorite drivers
December 3, 2002 (Hampton, Ga.) - Dale Earnhardt Inc. and Childress Racing
fans can now listen in on their favorite teams' racing communications
wearing custom-painted scanner headsets by Racing Radios.
The headsets were previewed at the company's new offices adjacent to Atlanta
Motor Speedway when the NASCAR Winston Cup circuit visited the Hampton, Ga.
track in October.
The headsets are available in custom colors for current DEI and Childress
drivers, including Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Kevin Harvick, Michael Waltrip,
Robby Gordon, Jeff Green and Steve Park, as well as a headset for the late
Dale Earnhardt Sr., including his famous autograph.
The behind-the-head scanner headsets are the same style used by major teams
in all types of racing. These listen-only headsets are also available in
over-the-head styles.
American-made and manufactured exclusively for Racing Radios by David Clark
Co., these headsets include volume control on the left ear cup and a 7-year
warranty. The headsets are compatible will all scanners.
Race fans can also purchase scanners to go with their new headset from
Racing Radios. The company carries a line of scanners for the motorsport
fan.
Racing Radios will in booth number 2111 at the 2002 Performance Racing
Industry trade show, December 5-7 at the Indiana Convention Center and RCA
Dome in Indianapolis, Ind.
