Chairman of Toyota South Africa Dies

JOHANNESBURG, Dec 3, 2002; Reuters reported that Bert Wessels, executive chairman of Toyota South Africa, died on Monday from an apparent heart attack, the company said on Tuesday.

Wessels, 58, was the son of Toyota South Africa's founder Albert Wessels, and had been chairman of the company since 1991.
