Hyundai Reports Sales For November

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Dec. 3, 2002; Hyundai Motor America today announced November sales of 26,042 units, increasing the year-to-date total to 349,675 which surpasses the all-time HMA annual sales record of 346,235 units established last year. Through November Hyundai's sales are up 8.7 percent over last year.

"Sales continue to be led by the Elantra and the Santa Fe sport utility vehicle. Buyers looking for styling, performance and value have given Hyundai tremendous sales momentum this year and we are working hard to make certain these strong sales continue," said Hyundai's Vice President of Sales Robert Cosmai. Cosmai also noted that year-to-date sales of the popular Santa Fe sport utility vehicle are up 43 percent compared to last year.
