Comau Pico Appoints Don Hemberg as President and Chief Executive Officer
SOUTHFIELD, Mich.--Dec. 3, 2002--Comau Pico, a global supplier of body assembly systems, and powertrain machining, assembly and test systems; has announced the appointment of Don Hemberg to president and chief executive officer. An 18-year employee of the company, Hemberg has held a variety of positions including engineering director, vice- president of Project Management and Engineering, and most recently, chief operations officer.Prior to joining Comau Pico, Hemberg held project management and engineering positions with Burlington Industries and Ford Motor Company. He holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina, dual bachelor of science degrees from the University of Michigan in electrical engineering and applied mechanics, and is a registered professional engineer in multiple states. A native of Detroit, Mr. Hemberg resides in West Bloomfield with his wife and four children.
