Jan Lindelow Joins HyPerformix's Board of Directors; Former IBM Executive and Tivoli CEO Strengthens Enterprise Performance Management Software Firm's External Leadership Team

    AUSTIN, Texas--Dec. 2, 2002--HyPerformix Inc., a leader in enterprise application performance solutions, today announced that Jan Lindelow, former Vice President of Emerging Business Development for the IBM Corporation, and former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Tivoli Systems Inc. (an IBM company), has joined HyPerformix's Board of Directors.

    Jan Lindelow is an active board member of several promising enterprises, primarily in the high-technology industry. Lindelow has extensive experience managing global multi-billion dollar businesses as well as smaller, entrepreneurial companies. He focuses on strategic business positioning while strengthening technology and operational capabilities.
    Lindelow retired from IBM Corporation earlier this year, last holding the position of Vice President of Emerging Business Development. Lindelow also served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Tivoli Systems Inc., an IBM company headquartered in Austin, which he joined in 1997.
    Prior to joining IBM/Tivoli, Lindelow was President and Chief Operating Officer of Symbol Technologies. He also served in several senior executive positions with Asea Brown Boveri (ABB). At Unisys/Sperry Computer Systems, Lindelow was president of Worldwide Sales and Services, and he spearheaded the company's entry into UNIX and other open markets in the mid-80s. He joined Sperry in his native Sweden where he subsequently became President of Sperry's Nordic Group in 1980 before moving with his family to the U.S. in 1982. Lindelow received an M.S. degree in Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
