Kia Motors November Sales up 11.8 pct

SEOUL, Dec 2, 2002; Reuters reported that Kia Motors Corp, South Korea's second largest automaker, said on Monday November auto sales rose 11.8 percent from a year earlier to 106,073 units.

Kia, an affiliate of the country's largest automaker, Hyundai Motor Co, said in a public notice to the Korea Stock Exchange, exports in November rose 12 percent from a year earlier to 69,070 vehicles.

The automaker did not give reasons for the rise in sales.
