Eclipse Magnetics to Supply Jaguar with New Magnetic Oil Filters
BOCA RATON, Fla.--Nov. 26, 2002--MegaPro Tools Inc. (OTCBB:SJCK) announced that its company Eclipse Magnetics will be supplying Jaguar with magnetic oil filters.Eclipse Magnetics, the renowned UK based Magnetic Company has developed what is regarded to be the best performing low and high-pressure oil filters available today. The Eclipse magnetic oil filters are rated to operate at 20 & 200 bar respectively which is making a big impact in the Powertrain, Plant and Pressing industries.
Metal wear can greatly reduce the life expectancy of oil, seals, valves and any other steel item that comes into contact with it increasing maintenance expenditure which, can be avoided by installing an Eclipse filter.
The filters have been designed to remove micron and sub-micron sized metal wear contamination. 80% of all contamination found in lubricating and hydraulic oils are less than 10-15 micron, conventional full flow membrane filters allow this size of particle to pass through causing more wear.
At the center of the filter is the high intensity magnetic core which, utilizes intensifier matrix pole pieces to ensure that the filter body is completely covered magnetically ensuring even the smallest pieces of contamination is captured.
