AIADA Annual Meeting to be Held Feb. 3 in San Francisco

WASHINGTON, Nov. 21, 2002 -- The American International Automobile Dealers Association (AIADA) will hold its 33rd Annual Membership Meeting and Luncheon on Monday, Feb. 3 at the Yerba Buena Ballroom at the San Francisco Marriott, in conjunction with the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Convention. Attendees will hear the latest on: The State of the Industry How the 2002 Elections Will Impact Automobile Dealers Challenges and Opportunities for AIADA in 2003 At the annual meeting, outgoing 2002 Chairman Jamie Auffenberg of the St. Clair Auto Mall in O'Fallon, Ill. will report to dealers on the association's accomplishments over the past year. Tim Smith of Bob Smith BMW in Canoga Park, Calif., will be installed as AIADA's 2003 Chairman of the Board.

Awards for outstanding dealer achievements will be presented, including the David H. Gezon Lifetime Achievement Award and the "Top Gun" award for excellence in political involvement.

The event begins with a reception at 11:15 am followed by the luncheon at 12:00 noon in the Yerba Buena Ballroom. Tickets are $40 in advance and $45 at the door.
