AKRON, Ohio--Nov. 21, 2002--Roadway Express, Inc.'s highway safety efforts were highly recognized recently by the awarding of the Pennsylvania Governor's Highway Safety Award to the Safe80 Task Force at the annual safety conference. The conference was sponsored by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Michael M. Ryan, Deputy Secretary for Highway Administration, acknowledged the award recipients.
