Trailer Bridge Earns DaimlerChrysler Gold Award; Company is the First Ocean Carrier to Receive This Award

    JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--Nov. 19, 2002--Trailer Bridge, Inc. (NASDAQ National Market: TRBR) has earned the DaimlerChrysler Corporation Gold Award for 2001.
    DaimlerChrysler recognized Trailer Bridge at a ceremony, which took place at Trailer Bridge's corporate headquarters in Jacksonville, FL. This award is presented to select DaimlerChrysler service providers in recognition of outstanding supplier performance. Trailer Bridge earned the Gold Award for 2001 for superior new vehicle service between the US Mainland and Puerto Rico and is the first ocean carrier ever to have been selected for this prestigious award.
    Trailer Bridge has had a growing relationship with Chrysler since 1993 and Mercedes-Benz since 1994. DaimlerChrysler vehicles that are sold in Puerto Rico include the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Mercedes-Benz, including M-class, and Freightliner Heavy Trucks. Trailer Bridge is the exclusive ocean carrier for Chrysler and Mercedes-Benz vehicles moving from the U.S. to Puerto Rico.
