Ford To Spend Even More To Woo NASCAR Fans- How High Can You Go?
Dearborn, Mich. November 18, 2002; Bill Koenig writing for Bloomberg reported that Ford is trying to boost car and truck sales and stem a U.S. market-share decline by increasing promotions aimed at racing fans.
The company will buy more advertising during Nascar stock-car races next year and push membership in its Team Ford racing club.
