IRWINDALE DRAGSTRIP ADDS THURSDAY NIGHT
DECEMBER 5 TEST & TUNE SESSION …


Irwindale, Calif. - -  As they say: "Due to popular demand …"  


Due to popular demand, Irwindale Speedway will extend its very popular Thursday-Night-Under-The-Lights Test & Tune Sessions for at least one more session on Thursday, December 5th.  

"We had over 250 cars and more than 1,000 spectators on the 14th of November,"  said Dragstrip Director, Gene Bergstrom,  "And our racers were asking us for just one more test night before the holidays," he explained.  

Thanksgiving Night , Thursday, November 28, will be a "dark" night for the Dragstrip, (but a busy one for the oval track as the sixty-second annual Thanksgiving Night Grand Prix for Midgets will be running on the Speedway half-mile.)

So …Thursday night, December 5th will be the next chance for street machine drivers of all types, styles, and speeds to bring their cars out for a hot run on a cool night under the bright lights at Irwindale.  The track had already announced the last Test & Tune of the 2002 season as November 21, so Dragstrip officials area asking fans to "Put the word" out on this added track night. As the strip's chief announcer John Partridge would say:  "Let's get out there and boil them baloneys, BAY-Bee!"
