NASCAR Full-Event Tickets, Other Promotional Ticket Packages for 2003 Season On Sale November 5th
NASCAR PIT PASS PART OF SEASON-TICKET PACKAGE FOR 2003
SONOMA, Calif. (IMMEDIATE RELEASE) - Race fans will be afforded the rare opportunity to rub shoulders with NASCAR Winston Cup stars Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart during the 2003 season at Infineon Raceway thanks to a season ticket package.
Fans can receive a pit pass for the Dodge/Save Mart 350 NASCAR Winston Cup weekend (June 19-22) by purchasing a season ticket package, which go on sale today (Nov. 5). The pit pass would allow fans access to pit road at select times, including pre-race festivities on race day. Season ticket buyers will also receive first priority seating assignments.
The only way to obtain a pit pass is to purchase a full season ticket package that not only includes NASCAR, but the sheer power of the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series (Aug. 1-3), as well all other Infineon Raceway main events. This package features premium reserved seats in Infineon Raceway's state-of-the-art grandstand and cost is $525 ($110 savings). There are a limited number of pit passes available.
In addition to NASCAR and the NHRA, the season will feature the best in sports cars, motorcycles, vintage drag racing and vintage automobile racing on the world-famous drag strip and road course (see schedule below).
Infineon Raceway has also developed two additional combo-ticket packages for the 2003 Big O Tires Racing Season designed to showcase its feature events and provide savings.
· The NASCAR & Grand Prix Super Ticket: This package features a premium reserved seat to Sunday's Dodge/Save Mart 350 and three-day general admission tickets to the Infineon Grand Prix of Sonoma American Le Mans Series event for a cost of $130 ($30 savings).
· NASCAR & NHRA Maximum Horsepower Ticket: This package includes a premium reserved seat to Sunday of the Dodge/Save Mart 350 and a Friday reserved seat ticket to the NHRA FRAM Autolite Nationals. An exciting fireworks show, presented by Korbel Champagne, will return for a second year at the FRAM Autolite Nationals on Friday night of race weekend. Cost of the package is $130.
The final package has been a fan-favorite for years: NASCAR Raceway Club. This package offers exceptional value for $225, including four days admission to the Dodge/Save Mart 350 - reserved seats Saturday-Sunday - access to a hospitality tent that features closed-circuit television, complimentary lunch on Saturday and Sunday, non-alcoholic beverages, program, ticket lanyard and a grid sheet.
Ticket renewals and special ticket packages for the 2003 season will be available from Nov. 5-25, while tickets to Sunday of the Dodge/Save Mart 350 NASCAR weekend will be available beginning Dec. 2. Tickets to all other events on the 2003 schedule will be available Dec. 2. Call 800-870-RACE.
