ChevronTexaco Global Lubricants Introduces Chevron Branded Automotive Coolants for Retail Consumers
SAN RAMON, Calif.--Nov. 5, 2002--ChevronTexaco Global Lubricants (CTGL) today announced it is expanding its coolant product line with the introduction of Chevron DEX-COOL(R) Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant and Chevron Supreme Antifreeze/Coolant. The new Chevron-branded coolants will be available to consumers through retailers whose primary sales are to the automotive aftermarket across the country.
Chevron DEX-COOL Extended Life Anti-Freeze can provide cooling system protection for up to five years or 150,000 miles, which is five times longer than most conventional coolants. "We have been providing our customers with technologically advanced products and services for many years," said Craig Duncan, vice president, North America Lubricants for ChevronTexaco. "This advanced coolant technology was developed in our laboratories and has many millions of miles of road use behind it. Now our Chevron customers can count on the Chevron name for extended life cooling system protection that performs under the most severe operating conditions. The bottom line for our customers is they can be confident and rely on protection that lasts."
