International Truck and Engine Corporation Truck Group Taps Strong Bench in Leadership Changes

    WARRENVILLE, Ill.--Nov. 5, 2002--International Truck and Engine Corporation announced today a series of management changes within its truck group.
    These changes, said Steve Keate, president of the truck group, support the company's growth strategy while leveraging its top talent.

    Wayne Krzysiak, 53, vice president and general manager, parts operations, has been named vice president, sales and distribution worldwide. Under his leadership, the parts operations business experienced continued profitable growth. A former vice president of distribution for the company, Krzysiak also brings more than 18 years of sales experience to his new post. Krzysiak succeeds Steve Koch as vice president, sales and distribution worldwide. Koch has assumed the position of dealer principal of City International Truck, Inc. in Chicago. Koch, 49, a 26-year veteran of International, improved the effectiveness of the sales and distribution organization and the company's dealer distribution strategy.

    Jack Allen, 44, vice president and general manager of Blue Diamond Truck Company, a joint venture with Ford Motor Company, has been named vice president and general manager, parts operations. Allen managed the successful start up of the joint venture. He also has extensive experience in the sales environment from serving as vice president of sales for the truck group's western region.

    Mark Stasell, 41, vice president of product development, has been named vice president and general manager of Blue Diamond Truck Company. Stasell spearheaded best-in-class product launch successes with the introduction of the Industry's First High Performance Truck(TM). His appointment, said Keate, reinforces International's commitment to the Blue Diamond joint venture.

    Phil Christman, 39, vice president, core engineering and product support, succeeds Stasell as vice president of product development. Christman helped build a best-in-class engineering organization and was instrumental in all truck product launches over the past two years. Finally, David Price, 42, director of the heavy product center, has been named vice president, core engineering and product support. Price lead the launch of the company's newest heavy truck models and 2002 emissions program. He brings more than 18 years of engineering and product development experience.
