Prolong Super Lubricants to Feature Al Unser, Other Motorsports Celebrities, at SEMA Las Vegas Show
IRVINE, Calif. and LAS VEGAS, Nov. 5, 2002; Prolong Super Lubricants, Inc., operating subsidiary of Prolong International Corporation, a consumer products company and manufacturer and marketer of patented consumer automotive, commercial/industrial and household products, announced today that four well known celebrities in the world of motorsports will be at the media conference at Prolong's booth 23221 at the SEMA show at 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, to be interviewed, to pose for photos, and to sign autographs. The popular celebrities representing Prolong will also make regular appearances at its booth throughout the week to share with visitors their personal positive experiences using Prolong products as well as to provide autographs and photo opportunities. The SEMA show at the Las Vegas Convention Center is the largest gathering of automotive aftermarket industry professionals in the world.
The celebrities are:
-- Al Unser, four time winner of the Indy 500, two-time Driver of the Year, ferocious competitor, and a member of the Motorsports Hall of Fame. Mr. Unser is official spokesman and longtime user of Prolong products. He was the two-time winner of the International Race of Champions, won 39 Indy Car victories in his memorable career, and earned more than $6 million in career race earnings.
-- Linda Vaughan, the undisputed "First Lady of Motorsports," who has appeared in several well-known racing movies, including "Stoker Ace" with Burt Reynolds and "Gumball Rally," has been honored as a member of the SEMA Hall of Fame. Ms. Vaughan serves as a consultant and spokesperson for Prolong Super Lubricants.
-- Johnny Rocca, one of the most famous drag racers in the world, is noted for his chopped-bodied '33 Willys "Tin Indian" with trademark supercharged engine under the hood. Mr. Rocca, a Native American, and his 230-MPH "Ironhorse" '49 Mercury coupe, the most popular Pro Modified racer in IHRA competition, serve as a key image for Prolong Super Lubricants' national promotional sales and public relations campaigns.
-- Marnie Capurro, Miss Prolong, is one of the most recognized spokesmodels in the automotive sports industry.
