ISSI Unveils a Full Line of Automotive DRAM, SRAM & EEPROM Memory

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov. 5, 2002; Integrated Silicon Solution, Inc., a leader in advanced memory solutions, today announced a new line of DRAM and SRAM memory products for the Automotive Market. These products include: 16Mbit EDO and fast page mode DRAM in x4 and x16 configurations 16Mbit, 64Mbit synchronous DRAM in x16 configurations 256K, 1Mbit, 4Mbit, 8Mbit asynchronous SRAM in x8 and x16 configurations

The fabless business model also gives ISSI the flexibility to maximize available wafer fabrication capacity for existing products, a key role in ISSI's product strategy.

To meet the quality and reliability demands of the automotive industry, all phases of ISSI's production process are controlled and fully documented in standard automotive PPAPs. ISSI is ISO9001:2000 certified and is in the process of obtaining TS16949 certification. Subcontractors in the automotive production flow are fully QS9000 certified. All new product entries meet or exceed requirements set forth in the AEC-Q100 qualification standards. ISSI will support three different grades for automotive products: -40C to +85C, -40C to +105C, and -40C to +125C.
