Subaru of America, Inc. Announces Sales Results for October
CHERRY HILL, N.J., Nov. 1, 2002; -- Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA), a pioneer of crossover all-wheel drive vehicles designed for the active lifestyle, announced today October sales of 16,978 units. The total represents a decrease of 3 percent from October 2001 sales. The Legacy model line achieved a sales total of 7,983 units, while Subaru Outback recorded sales of 5,452 units for the month. Subaru Forester recorded sales of 5,039 units, a 2 percent increase from October 2001. The Impreza line recorded sales of 3,075 units for the month. Sales of the recently introduced Baja model increased this month, with a total of 881 units for the month.
