Hyundai Reports Sales for October

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Nov. 1 -- Hyundai Motor America today announced October sales of 26,297 units. "That number is slightly below last month's sales, but year-to-date Hyundai sales are up 10 percent and we are on target for yet another all time record sales year," said Hyundai's Vice President of Sales Robert Cosmai.

"Sales continue to be led by the Elantra and the Santa Fe sport utility vehicle. Buyers looking for styling, performance and value have given Hyundai tremendous sales momentum this year and we are working hard to make certain these strong sales continue," he added. Cosmai also noted that year-to-date sales of the popular Santa Fe sport utility vehicle are up 45.7 percent compared to last year.

"Hyundai cars and sport utility vehicles are backed with America's Best Warranty, The Hyundai Advantage. Our customers have confidence knowing their Hyundai vehicles are covered by a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, a 5-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, 5-year/unlimited miles roadside assistance program and more," Cosmai explained.
