Best Sales Month Ever For Nissan Canada's Luxury Division, Infiniti

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Nov. 1, 2002; Nissan Canada Inc.'s luxury division, Infiniti, reported record sales this month, making October 2002 the best month ever. Infiniti maintained its record sales trend for the eighth consecutive month with 770 units sold in October 2002, a 98% increase over October 2001.

Contributing to this success is the all-new 2003 Infiniti G35 sport sedan and G35 Sport Coupe (together selling 526 units in October) and the recent launch of the M45 performance sedan, a car designed to fill the gap between the G35 sport sedan and Infiniti's luxury flagship Q45.

Continuing its success under the Nissan 180 Plan, Nissan Canada Inc. reported combined car and truck sales for Nissan and Infiniti of 6,298 units sold for the month of October. This represents an increase of 34% over October 2001.

Nissan alone continued its strong sales for 2002 with 5,428 units sold in the month of October. Contributing to this success are Nissan trucks sales, with Xterra sales of 463 units, making October 2002 its 2nd best month ever. Pathfinder sales also continued to be strong with 704 units sold in October, a 14% increase over the previous month.
