Russell Recommended for ISO 9001 and QS-9000 Quality Registration
TORRANCE, Calif.--Nov. 1, 2002--Russell Performance Products, a division of Edelbrock Corporation , has been recommended for incorporation and scope expansion within Edelbrock Corporation's current ISO 9001 and QS-9000 quality registration by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. assessment team, its current international quality standards registrar.Russell is best known for supplying its advanced fluid systems for high-performance street, marine and racing applications for more than a quarter century. Now an integral part of the Edelbrock "Fun Team," Russell has established its own engineering and state-of-the-art quality control departments in its new facility in Torrance, Calif.
Registration to ISO 9001 and QS-9000 is awarded to organizations that dedicate themselves to continuous improvement in manufacturing and operations processes.
