According to Cushing Anderson, the IDC program director for Learning Services Research, "this deal represents the first time a major book publisher has sought a strategic alliance with an e-Learning content provider to transform such a well-known book brand that has enjoyed worldwide appeal into a high-quality and engaging training product available through the Internet. Training managers and information technology managers need to overcome employee's resistance to training. The irreverent For Dummies learning series will be familiar to employees and trusted by managers. A strong combination in the cluttered market of information technology training offerings."
The primary focus of the courses produced will be targeted to business markets wanting fast, easy-to-understand and comprehensive information organized in an e-Learning format.
