Russia BMW, KIA JV

MOSCOW -October 28, 2002; Dow Jones reported that OAO Avtotor, a Russian joint venture of Bayerische Motoren Werke AG and Korea's KIA Group , said Monday that it will assemble 7,000 cars in 2002, up from 4,200 in 2001, Itar-Tass news agency reported.

The company didn't specify the output by models.

Avtotor plans to increase output and diversify models of BMWs assembled in 2003, the agency said
