FISHER/UNITECH Expands Reseller Territory to Include Wisconsin and Northern Indiana; Growth Solidifies Corporate Strength and Position

TROY, Mich.--Oct. 28, 2002--FISHER/UNITECH, reseller of technology solutions for the manufacturing sector, today announces its territory expansion into Wisconsin and northern Indiana. FISHER/UNITECH will provide styling, design, analysis, and automation solutions which were previously not available in the area from a single source.
SolidWorks Corporation has appointed FISHER/UNITECH a reseller in Wisconsin and Indiana. The Company had previously been active in both states with its other product lines. As a result of this appointment, the Company has opened an office in Milwaukee, WI, to locally serve the needs of the machine tool, consumer products, durable goods, and transportation industries.
"Milwaukee has the largest concentration of industry in the state which is what attracted us to the location," said Charles Hess, president of FISHER/UNITECH. "Local area companies need a technology leader who can help them become more competitive and efficient in their design and engineering processes. Our recent announcements of QuickDesign for KBE and EON Reality for web-based product interaction are examples of how we will provide technical leadership to the area. FISHER/UNITECH understands the complete product development process, and can identify ways to help improve that process."
Target markets in Indiana will be the mobile home, medical and tool and die industries. Process improvement strategies for these industries will focus on the transition from 2D to 3D product development, design automation, rapid prototyping and computer-aided manufacturing.
The territory expansion will facilitate the Company's goal to provide leadership in information technology for engineering within its geographical focus. FISHER/UNITECH now has a training and service center within a two hour drive of most companies from Pennsylvania through Wisconsin.
