Toyota September Domestic Output up 9.5%

TOKYO, Oct 24, 2002, Reuters reported that Japan's largest automaker, Toyota Motor Corp, said on Thursday its domestic output rose 9.5 percent in September from a year earlier to 303,329 vehicles.

That follows a 2.1 percent decline in August.

Second-ranked Honda Motor Co Ltd said earlier that its domestic production was up 10.7 percent year-on-year at 122,864 units in September.
