FordDirect CEO Devon Cohen to Discuss Trends In the Remarketing Industry, Oct. 28

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 23, 2002 -- FordDirect CEO Devon Cohen will be talking tech and remarketing trends with the industry's key executives at this year's iRemarketing Conference, held Oct. 27 - 29, at the Hyatt Regency Islandia. WHO: In March 2001, Cohen became CEO of FordDirect, a unique partnership between Ford and its dealers to enhance automotive sales through the application of technology. Before joining FordDirect, Cohen was automotive group vice president for TradeOut (sister company to eBay); served on Mercedes Benz Credit's and DaimlerChrysler Financial Services' executive teams; and started, built and sold a successful business, Remarketing Services of America, one of the most successful entrepreneurial-started businesses in the industry.

WHAT: Cohen will present the keynote address at iRemarketing 2002 "New Technology and the Economy," an executive conference for the remarketing industry. His presentation will focus on the many changes in the remarketing industry, such as how new vehicle incentives affect used vehicle values, as well as emerging trends such as how technology is being used much more effectively to support transaction fulfillment.
