    Automobile collisions on rural roads account for 60 percent of the nation's fatal crashes, yet only 20 percent of all accidents occur on these roads. Speeds are faster and it often takes emergency crews much longer to find the victims. However, that is changing -- some automakers are offering integrated in-vehicle safety communications systems that are helping victims of accidents get help faster.
