DaimlerChrysler raises 2002 revenues forecast

FRANKFURT, Oct 23, 2002 Reutersm reports that DaimlerChrysler AG said it expected 2002 revenues to amount to about 150 billion euros ($146.6 billion), raising its forecast from about 143 billion previously.

The world's fifth largest automaker reported revenues of 152.9 billion euros in 2001. The company earlier posted better-than-expected third quarter results and also raised its 2002 operating profit forecast.
