Mitsubishi Wins Y70 Billion Order from GM

TOKYO, Oct 22, 2002, Reuters reported that Japan's Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd said on Tuesday it had won an order from General Motors Corp worth around 70 billion yen ($560 million) for car air-conditioning and engine-cooling systems. Japan's largest heavy machinery maker said in a statement that the order was for new GM minivans set to hit the market in 2004.
