ABRA Auto Body & Glass Announces City-Wide Food Drive for the Atlanta Community Food Bank

MINNEAPOLIS--Oct. 15, 2002--ABRA Auto Body & Glass will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Atlanta Community Food Bank starting October 21 through November 27. Consumers are urged to visit one of the ten ABRA repair centers located in metro Atlanta during these dates to receive a free headlight aiming in return for their donation of six or more items for the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
"Due to a tight job market and uncertain economy, we are in need of contributions", stated Jane Hayden of the Atlanta Community Food Bank. "We express our sincere gratitude for the people at ABRA and what they are doing for those in need."
Regular wear and tear, road vibrations, potholes...all can cause your headlights to go out of adjustment. That can be a hazard to on-coming drivers, and a distraction in rear-view mirrors. It can also mean reduced visibility for you at a time when bad weather can produce more and more adverse driving conditions.
According to Andy Ingalls, Vice President of ABRA-Atlanta, "Supporting the Atlanta Community Food Bank is just one way we can give back to the community that has supported us over the years. In addition, the valuable headlight aiming service offers safer night driving. We are glad that we can make a double contribution through this effort to the wonderful citizens of the Atlanta area."
Appointments for the free headlight aiming can be made by calling 1-888-USA-ABRA, Option 1.
