SAE Detroit Section to Introduce 2003 Honda Accord at November 7 Meeting
DETROIT--Oct. 15, 2002--The leaders of Honda's efforts to develop and build the Accord will discuss Honda's development strategy for the Accord and innovations at the Marysville Plant at the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Detroit Section dinner meeting November 7. Charlie Baker, executive engineer for Honda R&D Americas, Inc and the development Large Project Leader of the U.S. version of the Accord, will discuss the car's concept and key aspects of its development. Tim Downing, associate chief engineer of Honda of America Manufacturing., Inc. and engineering project leader for Accord, will discuss the plant-side innovation.The evening's social hour will begin at 5:30 pm, followed by dinner at 6:30 and presentation at 7:30. The San Marino Club is located at 1685 East Big Beaver Rd. in Troy. Reservations are required for this event.
