FleetBoss AutoGraphics Software, Enterprise Edition, Enters End-User Beta Testing Phase

    ORLANDO, Fla.--Oct. 14, 2002--

New, Enterprise Version is the Productivity Analysis Component of
    the Industry-Leading FleetBoss(R) GPS-Based Fleet Management System

FleetBoss Global Positioning Solutions, Inc., based in Fern Park, Fla., today announced the beta-test release of FleetBoss AutoGraphics(R) Software, Enterprise Edition, its first release to provide the convenience and flexibility of true, GPS-based fleet management in a network environment.
As a networked productivity tool, the new software improves the management and reporting capability of an organization's fleet vehicles which can typically be dispersed across multiple depots and branch office locations. As a client/server product, FleetBoss AutoGraphics(R) Enterprise Edition allows data to be collected and shared across an organization's LAN/WAN infrastructure.
"Our software engineers have greatly extended the capability and applicability of our flagship software product," said Lawrence Carroll, vice president of research and development. "With its fully relational database structure, improved record handling and archiving, and a host of other functional enhancements, our enterprise edition brings all the time and cost saving benefits of our standalone products to the larger, corporate environment," he added.
The current version of FleetBoss software, FleetBoss AutoGraphics(R) Standard Edition, has been in service for over two years. It will remain the Company's standalone, single-station solution as the new Enterprise Edition can be installed as a deluxe, standalone solution and/or comprehensive network solution.
The beta-test will be conducted by select end-users, identified and screened by the FleetBoss authorized dealer network and approved by the FleetBoss R&D team. Eligible candidates will typically run larger fleets of upwards to 100 vehicles and have an established LAN/WAN infrastructure. Beta Testers will provide performance reports back to FleetBoss and will benefit from advanced support during the beta-test period.
FleetBoss AutoGraphics(R) Software, Enterprise Edition Highlights:

-- Productivity Analysis: The program features a "Control Center" which offers an array of pre-formatted reports that graphically summarize the more critical activities of a motor vehicle fleet. With multi-user access, users have several options available to create and view reports in alternative formats that suit the users' needs. Reports and graphs can include, for example:
-- Trip records that include stop number; driver and vehicle identification; start and stop dates and time; idling time at departure, en route and at destinations; maximum speed or average speed on trip; miles driven; stop location and duration of stop.
-- Integrated Mapping Software: Automatically opens when a report is created. Vehicle activity is shown using color-coded icons and the user may choose the information to display with point-and-click buttons. An example of available information includes:
-- Stop locations that show where a driver shuts off the engine or idles the engine for longer than a pre-selected stop threshold.
-- Trail markers that show the actual route a selected vehicle traveled. Trail markers draw a "bread crumb" trail and can change color to indicate where input activity occurred, such as a sprayer being turned on, a street sweeper's brushes being lowered, emergency lights being switched on, etc.
-- Data Structure: FleetBoss AutoGraphics Enterprise Edition is based on the Microsoft(R) database engine (MSDE) and is scalable to MS SQL Server, which allows creation of an unlimited number of history records. The database structure is a normalized relational database that allows maximum flexibility for accessing data and presenting it in responsive ways to the user.
-- Map Engine: Using Microsoft(R) MapPoint(R) 2002 as the map data and display engine, FleetBoss AutoGraphics(R) Enterprise Edition provides highly accurate geo-positioning, routing tools, attractive presentation of map information, and powerful reporting functions.

    Shipping and Pricing

The beta test period is expected to last through the end of 2002 with FleetBoss AutoGraphics(R) Enterprise Edition shipping early in Q1 2003. Pricing has not yet been set.
