CoorsTek Announces Appointment of Two Vice Presidents

    GOLDEN, Colo.--Oct. 7, 2002--CoorsTek, Inc. , a leading designer and manufacturer of critical components and integrated assemblies for the semiconductor capital equipment industry and other high technology applications, today announced the creation of two new officer positions: Vice President & Corporate Controller, and Vice President, Operations, Assembly Division.
    Steve Rask, 32, was named Vice President & Corporate Controller. His responsibilities will include the Company's accounting, reporting and tax functions. Previously, Mr. Rask was Director of Accounting & Corporate Controller for CoorsTek. He will continue to report to Joseph Warren, Jr., Chief Financial Officer. Steve has been with the Company for five years and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northern Illinois University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
    In addition, the Company announced that David Morosoli, 38, was appointed to the position of Vice President, Operations, Assembly. In this role, he will oversee the Company's growing Assembly Services business. He will continue to report to Derek Johnson, Chief Operating Officer. Prior to this position, Mr. Morosoli was CoorsTek's Director of Assembly Services and has been with the Company for three years. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from San Jose State University. He is also a former Captain in the United States Army.
