Dave Gilbert Named President of Clear!Blue Chicago

CHICAGO, Oct. 2 -- Dave Gilbert, former president of Golin/Harris International, has been named president of Clear!Blue Chicago LLC, a strategic communications and events company that is part of Clear!Blue LLC, a national company with international reach, based in Birmingham, Michigan.

As President of Clear!Blue Chicago, Gilbert will develop a public relations capability for the fast growing organization, which will be provided entirely through the Chicago office. Founded two years ago by a small, Detroit-based group of creative, marketing and production people from DaimlerChrysler and InterOne Marketing Group, Clear!Blue's staff has more than quadrupled, while the company's roster of clients has expanded to cover the automotive, telecom, pharmaceutical and restaurant industries.

Gilbert joins this team leveraging his experience at Golin/Harris International, the KemperLesnik Organization and Continental Bank. Gilbert has also served as the Press Secretary to Illinois Governor Jim Thompson and as a reporter for the Chicago Tribune and City News Bureau of Chicago.
