Ford Sept U.S. vehicle sales up 1.6 pct

 DETROIT, Oct 1 (Reuters) - Following are Ford Motor Co.
U.S. sales of cars and light trucks in September 2002
versus the same year-earlier month and for the year to date.
 Percent changes are based on the daily sales rate, and
reflect 23 selling days this month vs. 25 in the month last
year, and 229 this year vs. 230 last year to date.
