ANNUAL "HARLEYS ON THE HALF-MILE" EVENT THIS SATURDAY AT IRWINDALE

ANNUAL "HARLEYS ON THE HALF-MILE" CELEBRATION OF
MILWAUKEE'S MIGHTIEST … SATURDAY AT IRWINDALE
Presented by LA's Oldest and Most-Respected H-D Dealer, LAIDLAW's

Irwindale, California - - That rumble you're hearing in the air on Saturday afternoon next, is a whole big bunch of Harleys heading for an afternoon and a night at the NASCAR circuit at Irwindale Speedway on Saturday, October 5.

Assembling early Saturday at Laidlaw's super-spectacular new 40,000 square foot (!) sales/service/rental emporium in Baldwin Park (right ON the 10 Freeway … You can't miss it!) bikers of every persuasion will gun their two-wheelers toward Irwindale Speedway (just up the 605 Freeway a few quick miles) and an afternoon of fun followed by an evening of great NASCAR racing.

Of course the highlight of the evening is wrapped around the event's official name: "Harleys On The Half-Mile" … 600 thumping motorbikes make a mighty spectacular sight (and sound!) when they wrap (rap?) around the racetrack taking a spin in front of an approving crowd of spectators. From the easiest of the easy riders to the most caffeinated of the café racers, and every stripe in between; you'll see 'em all on-track and making tracks at Irwindale on Saturday.

A $25 entry fee includes a ticket evening's races, secured bike parking, meal/beverage ticket, the hot "Half-Mile" ride and a special presentation to the fans during pre-race ceremonies. There'll be an afternoon bike show, and plenty of cool vendor booths, food, fun and all the Hogs that you can gawk at.

All proceeds of this event will benefit the City of Hope Pediatrics Department. Located only few miles North of the track in Duarte, California; the City of Hope's "track record" against a whole "pit list" of dread diseases is an winning one.

Fans not wishing to ride to the track may still pay the $25 entry fee which will provide a donation to City of Hope, a track meal, and entry to the races.
