Japan September Domestic Vehicle Sales Up 4.5%
TOKYO, Oct 1 Reuters reported that Japan's domestic sales of new
vehicles excluding 660cc minivehicles in September rose 4.5
percent from a year earlier to 388,018 units, the Japan
Automobile Dealers Association (JADA) said on Tuesday.
Sales rose in September after falling for 12 straight months.
Domestic vehicle sales for January-September totalled
3,022,012 units, down 4.2 percent from the same period a year
earlier, the association said.
