Rockwell Automation to Present at Merrill Lynch Conference on October 1, 2002

    MILWAUKEE--Sept. 30, 2002--Rockwell Automation Chairman and CEO Don H. Davis will make a presentation at the Merrill Lynch Industrial Technologies and Services Conference in New York on Tuesday, October 1, 2002 at 9:15 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
    The presentation will be audio webcast on the Rockwell Automation website (www.rockwellautomation.com), and a copy of the presentation slides will also be posted to the website. Listeners are encouraged to go to the website at least 15 minutes prior to the webcast to download and install any necessary software.
