NMRA Ford Nationals Show Series Official Newsletter http://www.nmraracing.com For Immediate Release: 2nd Annual NMRA DRAG RACING SERIES 2002 AWARDS CEREMONY TO BE HELD AT PRI INDUSTRY TRADE SHOW, FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6th, 2002 Fountain Valley, CA -- ProMedia Events is proud to announce the 2002 NMRA Drag Racing Series World Championship Award Ceremony will be hosted at the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show, Friday, December 6th, 2002 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The NMRA Ford Drag Racing Series, sponsored by 5.0 Mustang Magazine, Holley, and Ford Racing Performance Parts, is the leading Ford drag racing and events series in the country. For the 2nd year, the NMRA will honor their World Champions and top ten racers in front of over a thousand people at the PRI Trade Show! On December 6th, 2002, both new and returning NMRA World Champions and top 10 finishers in the 4th Annual NMRA Ford Drag Racing Series will take the stage. The 2002 NMRA Awards Ceremony is open to all racers, crew members, fans, vendors, manufacturers, and sponsor representatives. At the 2002 NMRA Championship Awards Ceremony, custom made NMRA jackets will be awarded to the NMRA drivers in the top ten in points of each of the eleven NMRA Championship classes. In addition, ten special "NMRA Signature Awards" will be presented to ten racers or crew members that display outstanding sportsmanship or racing skill during the 2002 NMRA season. Other specialty awards to be presented at the ceremony include 2002 NMRA Sportsmen of the Year, 2002 NMRA Crew Member of the Year, 2002 NMRA Rookie of the Year, and the 2002 Jim Swarr Award of Perseverance and Dedication.
