* Kansas Speedway: In the inaugural Kansas Speedway race on Sept. 30,
2001, Spencer started in 14th position and took the checkered flag in 22nd
place.
* Chassis: Spencer will drive chassis #114 for in it's third race.
This chassis has competed earlier this season at Atlanta and Texas.
* Track Milestone: Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates driver
Jason Leffler won the inaugural NASCAR Winston Cup Pole at Kansas Speedway
on Sept. 28, 2001.
* Energizer Paint Scheme: Target Chip Ganassi Racing will feature a
new paint scheme for the Protection One 400 at Kansas Speedway on September
29. St. Louis-based Energizer will be the featured artwork on the No. 41
Energizer Dodge driven by Jimmy Spencer for this one event. The black and
silver trim paint scheme will feature the famous Energizer Bunny® on the
hood of the car.
The Energizer paint scheme also appeared on the No. 9 Target G
Force/Chevrolet driven by Jeff Ward in the Gateway Indy 250 in St. Louis on
August 25.
