WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Sept. 23 -- Wrenchead, Inc. the leader in Ecommerce Enabling Software and Electronic Catalog solutions to the Automotive Aftermarket industry, today announced MAM Software North America, Inc. as its first customer for the newly-released version of ECatalogue solution. "Wrenchead's catalog is a major addition to our software package," said Larry Blair, President of MAM Software North America. What really helped us make the decision was Wrenchead's latest release, which will provide our customers with world class Ecat Functionality."
MAM Partnership
The addition of Wrenchead's Electronic catalog to MAM's suite of software will offer a compelling solution to the Automotive Aftermarket. MAM's powerful Microsoft Windows based solution has been purchased by over 1,200 parts distribution businesses worldwide and will allow full integration of business control for all levels of the wholesale and retail aftermarket including Work Shops and Distributors.
Next Generation Ecat
Wrenchead also announced today the release of its Next Generation Ecat Product, which includes Counterman Questions, Interchange and Buyers Guide. "Customer feedback on our new product has been tremendous," said Stan Gowisnock, E.V.P. of Sales and Marketing for Wrenchead. "Our use of leveraged technology is producing a product with great coverage and the most up to date data," Mr. Gowisnock added. Wrenchead is the fastest growing Electronic Application catalog in the business.
"This Ecat release gives our customers a complete catalog solution that is accurate, timely and has the features they need to successfully run their business. We have invested the resources necessary to create the next generation product in electronic cataloging, and that investment is paying off big time for our customers," said Bryan Murphy, President of Wrenchead, Inc.
Counterman Questions qualify the data beyond Year, Make, Model and Engine by refining the user's final lookup results. Qualifying questions such as "with or without air conditioning" or "with our without power steering" give the user a faster and more precise search. Additionally, the Wrenchead technology allows any kind of vehicle component to be qualified thus offering a much more robust and customizable lookup process. Queries about axle type, ignition manufacturer, and accessory colors are other examples of the further refinement our product offers and offer advantages to the most experienced counterman as well as to beginners.
Wrenchead Interchange allows users to enter a part number and view the alternative part numbers for other aftermarket manufacturers, including OE part numbers and resolving the manufacturer and component ID automatically in most cases. The Wrenchead Buyers Guide allows users to view the exact number and makeup of the vehicles a given part number will fit, allowing users to better manage inventory and generally be better informed.
