Toyota to import its own midsize sedan from Britain

September 21, 2002 NAGOYA — Toyota Motor Corp will start importing possibly next year a midsize sedan it manufactures in Britain for the European market, sources close to the plan said Saturday.

The move marks the first time Toyota will sell in Japan a vehicle it makes in Europe. (Kyodo News)
