Cirque du Soleil Nor Ringling Brothers Can Compete With SpeedFreaks' Three Ring Circus This Sunday Hollywood, CA (September 19, 2002) - When The Mod Squad of Motorsports first heard the new hard rock hit Freak from Minnesota head cases, Flipp, the first thing that came to mind was separation at birth. "Beyond the hook of Flipp's battle ax, the line cuz you don't want to be like everybody else twisted my cerebellum like my 'ol man's snake light," says former trapeze king turned SpeedFreaks President and CEO Kenny Sargent. Look at Flipp and you've got a hard rock version of SpeedFreaks. Kilo (Crash), Chia (Statt), Brynn (Kenny) and Freaky (Lugg). And with song titles like I wish I was A Planet, Hairdo, and Rockstar, the similarities are Freakin' eerie. These guys even took on some high school principles in a Demolition Derby and WON! "I take exception to being compared to Chia Pet," rolls a brandy sippin' Statt Mann Caruthers. "I might have to roll up on somebody's butt, mainly our PR dude, and give'em a SpeedFreaks noogie." Joining the Flipp Circus this Sunday night will be the NASCAR Busch and Truck winners from the weekend, Busch series pilot, Shane Hmiel, and the dirty duo from Charlie's Angles II, MXers Shae Bentley and Nick Wey.
