"CHOIR BOYS" CHARITY MOTORCYCLE RIDE: SATURDAY - SEPTEMBER 21

Irwindale, Calif. - - This Saturday morning, September 21, the Irwindale Speedway parking lot is going to be buzzing with excitement … And a whole bunch (500 or 600) of very cool motorcycles.

Hey … Bikers! Call the cops??? No … Wait a minute … These ARE the cops! This is the famous "Choir Boys" motorcycle club; cops from all over the western United States who get together to ride for a cause that is very personal … Raising funds for the families of officers killed or injured in the line of duty.

Starting at the brand new 40,000 square foot (you've gotta see it) Laidlaw's Harley-Davidson motorcycle palace at the 10 Freeway and Puente Avenue in Baldwin Park, the ride will culminate at the Irwindale Dragstrip for a session of drag racing, games, a bike show, refreshments, a steak lunch, a burn-out contest, hot rod car show, a ride pin, and live music. Fans are invited to come out and enjoy watching the show or to even participate with their own bike.

(MUST PAGE 626-450-7933 FOR ALL
RIDE/SHOW/DRAGS ENTRY INFORMATION).

Fans will need to ask one of the members about the origin of the club's name "Choir Boys" (something about reverse psychology, we suppose). It is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping charities in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Texas.

They'll be rolling into Irwindale Dragstrip at about 11AM and the fun will run until about 3PM on Saturday … Makes a great chance for fans to thank some of America's everyday heroes who on their day off and having fun, but still taking care of their own …
