DaimlerChrysler Canada Announces Senior Management Changes
WINDSOR, ON, Sept. 18 - DaimlerChrysler Canada today announced the appointment of a new vice president to its senior management team. Robert A. (Bob) Clark has been named Vice President - Sales and Service replacing Patrick W. Dougherty. Mr. Dougherty rejoins the U.S. organization in the new position of Director - Commercial Vans Launch for DaimlerChrysler Corporation following his significant contribution to DaimlerChrysler Canada and its retailers.
"Bob Clark has gained extensive experience within the Sales organization while demonstrating excellent leadership and people skills," said Ed Brust, Chairman, President and CEO, DaimlerChrysler Canada. "Bob will be a key member of our senior management team as we continue to focus on exceeding the needs our customers."
In this position, Mr. Clark, 38, is responsible for sales development and strategy, business management and dealer development, national service, fleet sales and regional sales/service offices. Most recently, he served as Senior Manager - National Fleet.
Mr. Clark has been with the company since 1987 and has held a series of increasingly responsible positions within the Canadian Sales organization. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wilfred Laurier University.
