TDK Mediactive Appoints Dan Kletzky Executive Vice President of Business Development; Veteran Licensing Executive Joins TDK Team
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--Sept. 16, 2002--TDK Mediactive Inc. (OTC:TDKM), a global publisher of entertainment software, today announced the hiring of Dan Kletzky to the newly created position of Executive Vice President of Business Development. With well over 20 years of experience, the veteran licensing executive will report directly to Vincent Bitetti, the company's chief executive officer."We're very pleased to welcome Dan to the TDK Mediactive team," said Vincent Bitetti, chief executive officer of TDK Mediactive. Previous to joining TDK Mediactive, Kletzky founded Entertainment Licensing Associates in 1991, an independent licensing agency and production company dedicated to the merchandising and licensing of various products and services, as well as the production of television and motion picture projects based upon new and existing entertainment properties. Clients included Capcom Co, Ltd. ("Street Fighter," "Resident Evil"), Square Soft ("Final Fantasy"), and Edward R. Pressman Film Corporation ("The Crow"), among others. This came after spending 10 plus years in various senior level management positions at Warner Bros. Consumer Products Division, where he was a key player in the merchandising programs for such well known properties as Looney Tunes, DC Comics, "Dukes of Hazzard," Major League Baseball, The National Football League Players' Association, Aaron Spelling Productions ("Dynasty"), and others. Prior to Warner Bros., Kletzky was a practicing attorney in New York City.
